clicking coil
I`ve been running fords for about 22 years now and this is the first time i`ve had this problem.
I swapped in a 400m into a 79 F150 4x4 (took out a tired old 300 )and when the key is in the run position the coil is hot and charging the coil. With a timing light hooked up i flashes the same time the coil clicks. The engine will not fire until the key is released from the start to run position( if it does then).Does anyone have any ideas?
