1995 Aerostar won't run
I have a 1995 Aerostar with the 3.0. Van started missing in the 40-50 mph range. Went to go to work and the van won't start now. The engine turns over but it just won't fire up. I noticed that when the key is in the on position, all the lights on the dash i.e (ABS, air bag, check engine) all light up and then start going out as the systems check ok, with the exception of the check engine light. This light stays on and will not go off. Any ideas as to what might be going on here. I just had the cap/rotor, plugs, and wires replaced about 2 mo. ago. I am getting spark to the plugs as well as fuel to the engine.

Every time my 96 4.0 Check engine light comes on, it seems to be an emissions thing, but not serious as in $$. A mechanic with the right equipment can retrieve the code fairly quickly and locate the problem.
