95 rough acceleration
I have a 95 Aero XLT 4.0 RWD. It runs smooth at most speeds but bogs down at acceleration 50+ mph, in both drive and OD. I've redone all electrical and fuel components but it still happens. My mechanic says it may be an overdrive solenoid in the tranny. Any thoughts or recommendations?

And you can often hear a whistling or hissing noise when you push the throttle under load, too, when the converter's melted down and plugged.
