I'm just starting my second year in college, and I learned that you will ALWAYS have that one boring class that you will have to take. Mine was Math. I usually doodle, or fall asleep when I get bored. Well, I don't fall asleep completely, just to the point where I can feel myself being lifted out of my chair, but yet I'm still kinda awake. I guess "dosing off". That or I think about what other Mod.'s to do to my truck, then I make a list of that.

I've gotta say guys...I'm right there with most of you! The bad thing is, you get really good at it in school, then once you graduate and get a JOB you can't turn it off!!! Not good when your new boss looks over at you in a meeting and your eyes are closed...uhh umm...Wha..Huh?

later,
Nick

When I was in college, it was very easy to tell which students were there because of mom and dad, and those of us that were footing the bill ourselves. Even in the boring classes we paid attention because we had a vested interest! It was probably due to most of us being older, working full time, raising families, and many carrying a full schedule that made us appreciate what we would realize from getting a higher education that included the boring or worthless class. As I and others said a while back in a similar thread, "No one has ever been hurt by an education".

I suspect nothing has changed over time........
