I'm just starting my second year in college, and I learned that you will ALWAYS have that one boring class that you will have to take. Mine was Math. I usually doodle, or fall asleep when I get bored. Well, I don't fall asleep completely, just to the point where I can feel myself being lifted out of my chair, but yet I'm still kinda awake. I guess "dosing off". That or I think about what other Mod.'s to do to my truck, then I make a list of that.
I've gotta say guys...I'm right there with most of you! The bad thing is, you get really good at it in school, then once you graduate and get a JOB you can't turn it off!!! Not good when your new boss looks over at you in a meeting and your eyes are closed...uhh umm...Wha..Huh?
im a senior in HS and it sounds like my boring accounting class there is a bunch of underclassmen chicks but im too shy to talk to them but maybe the would wana ride in my 78 (check my gallery) and im always talking to my buddy about our trucks. luckaly i only have 2 full year accademic classes a semester of government and next semester a cooking class (always full of good looking girls and I cant even make macaroni and cheeze so i can play dumb (evil laughing)) also ive the got auto tech at a neighboring school and i get there during the end of lunch and the sign in is in their senior commons (more evil laughing) and their stupider and better looking than at my school
When I was in college, it was very easy to tell which students were there because of mom and dad, and those of us that were footing the bill ourselves. Even in the boring classes we paid attention because we had a vested interest! It was probably due to most of us being older, working full time, raising families, and many carrying a full schedule that made us appreciate what we would realize from getting a higher education that included the boring or worthless class. As I and others said a while back in a similar thread, "No one has ever been hurt by an education".
