hey guys, my dad just bought a '04 ranger "edge". he got a really good deal i think, but the thing rides REALLY stiff. he has a bad back & is wondering if he could soften it up quite a bit. any newby tips greatly appreciated.

I have an 01 2wd that rides pretty good. Try going to the lower tire pressure limit. I noticied on mine that if I have the tires pumped up pretty good, it rides rougher. You could probably do more with the torsion bars and springs but do some research first.
