I found out why our transmission went out at 450 miles on our 04 f250 powerstroke...There was a line pressure solenoid that wasnt allowing enough
pressure to operate the transmission properly. Which caused the burn up. When they put the new tranny in they found it. Hopefully no more problems.. So far so good. But then again its only day 2 with the new tranny...

2003 f 250 6.0 ficm

hey guys i got a 2003 f250 6.0 ive replaced all injectors egr bypass head studs replaced new alternator starter y pipe turbo complete exhaust 6in pipe all the way out cam n crank sensors new batteries block heater that stays plugged in all year long

i belive im having ficm issues 7 pole testing at 30 v i have removed and seperated the ficm no apperant signs of damage plugs into the ficm seemed realy easy to remove

truck has fantastic power when it runs

cold start next to impossible slightly tap on ficm fires right off no smoke slow idle around 650 to 700 rpm
last night went to take the kids to town and the truck started ran for 5 min or so then died so went back out this morning repete so i kept idle at 2000 rpm for 5 min or so idled the died continus repete idle for 5 then dies any ideas or direction to turn
also if anyone has a ficm schematic would be great

It's easier to sent it to Ed's FICM repair and get a tune on the thing while it's there
