It was a year ago when i made it, don't know ALL of the specs. The bolt is the same diameter and thread pitch as the stud on the ttb, it's a standard thread so you can find the bolt you need at a hardware store. As for the plate, i started by drilling two holes in some 3/16th plate, so that it could be bolted to the stock coil location on the solid axle. I then welded the bolt to the plate between the two holes. (Not having done this swap before i noticed my measurements were off on the stud placement when i was finished) the bolt SHOULD be welded (if your holes are in the center of the plate) about 1" outboard from the center of the bolt holes. Another plate drilled with the two holes will have to go on next, i used drill bit a bit larger than the bolt for the stud hole, to give me some leway on lining everything up. Once everything was lined up i weled the bolt to the plate the used some 1/4" square stock to fill in the gap that will be left between the two plates.
is it possible to purchase the trac bar mounts?? i dont have the facilities to fab this up, im a framer, i work with 2x4's and nail guns. also, lookin at all the pics of other guys that covered this project, it looks as though you dont need to make this mounts that sit under the coils, they just sit on the cups on the after market ext. radius arm mounts. so can i get away without that thing?
You could use the stock coil pad and retainer, coil wont seat perfectly but it will work, you will only get 6" of lift tho with the 6" coils. As for a trac bar bracket, there is no bolt on bracket
