Was looking to do a SAS on my 85 f250 and ditch the ttb stuff.. yes a Dana 60 would be nice and all but around here people think they have gold and want around 900-1500 for a axle...... no way.. I've searched around and couldn't find a thread not to long ago about putting SD axles in, matching pair of coarse due to the 8x170mm bolt pattern I think. Was looking to swap in 250 SD axles (99-2000's) I'm ok with a Dana 50! This is a light wheeler and tow rig more than anything. Can any of you point me in the right direction? It would be much appreciated, as always thanks guys
The spring pads are 3/4" wider, i assume that the u-joints are bigger, but nothing a conversion joint cant fix. I bought a PMF RSK that was designed for use with a SD axle so its all bolt in.
Sweet! Did you happen to have a link? I picked up a dana 50 with matching rear rear 10.25 for $200 complete minus one rotor, 3.55 gears and disk on all 4
