accelerator/throttle sticking

Looking for some help on my 93 Lightning. Everytime I start it up, put it in gear, and step on the accelerator, the pedal or linkage seems to stick. You really have to step on it and then of course you're gunning the truck. After a few minutes it stops while driving. If I didn't know better I would say that it is a vacuum problem. Any ideas out there??

I had that problem on my 93 when I first got it.It must have been a little wear cause I turned the screw on the TB just enough to stop the sticking and all has been well for the last 15,000 miles.

Thanks. I tried that before and it worked. However, the problem returned. I will probably have to keep adjusting it. Thanks!

Put some lok-tite on the threads of the screw and then adjust it properly, that should keep the screw from backing out. Just an idea, hope it helps
