Daytime Running Light DRL
My 96 Explorer has a new problem where the Daytime running lights stay on all the time, even when the keys are romoved from the ignition. I have pulled the fuse so my battery doesn't drain bit I would like a better solution.
Any Ideas would be appreciated. You can E-mail me at pinhunter@hotmail.com

The only wiring diagram I have is for a 97 & i'm guessing yours works the same way. On the 97 applying the emergency brake grounds a pin on the DRL module & shuts the lights off. Since that isnt happening, my guess would be that the DRL module is bad. If this was mine, i'd replace it.
On a 97 the DRL module is behind the drivers side headlight. Try tapping on it with a screwdriver & see if the lights go off.
