a low county boil does sound good!!
dw has not confirmed his plans, his initial thoughts is to head out on Wed - he wants me to go, not sure if i can get off work with the late notice.....I'll let ya know
We had some good ribs at his place over the weekend
Well, the Ramminator was here and no one had to throw bail..
It was a quite eve because I couldn't hang, so sorry to dissapoint.
I would like to say I cooked some kinda great deal but I didn't, not even a burger.
Anyhow maybe I can make up for it with ya'll later, after some sleep.
BTW- The Ramminator has a way cool truck that despite bein stock has some very nice features and will generate second glances from those in the know..
Now the food question:
city ham? help me out here...
**********************************
ya know, ham that is already thick sliced and prepacked- ready for the grill or skillet.
Cook it with some wood or coals and it ain't just for breakfast anymore.
Gonna try some more mango or papaya style sauces with it.
Sumthin like that..
OK-so I started this. I don't have a fav bbq joint right now, but would love to do a ride-n-eat of Georgia..
I had always been raised that sauce was an option on bbq, not required.
But sop (sauced many times) ribs are required now and then.
Whatchu think??
You name the time and start place. I'll bring the truck and a empty stomach.
Closest thing we have to good barbeque is Jim 'n Nicks in Niceville, 20 miles away, and it's only drive through. Barbeque in this town has gone straight to hell.
Well rray you sound like you would fit right in with this hooligan bunch so bring your appetite to the next gearhead meetin'.
We are hopin' to do somethin this fall, last bbq- or winter- low country shrimp boil-
dependin on 3bc and Evil. A better crowd you will never meet.
I can honestly say you will never meet better folks than these gearheads.
