I bought the truck from another guy. Evidently the relays for the t/t package are not in the main pwr. dist.
no, they are not, there is a small black plastic box (aprox 2"x5") right next to the main under hood fuse box (power dist box), it probably has some black tape holding it closed, the relays go in there.
Okay, guys, I got home today and took out my trailer brake pigtail that came with my Superduty. It was still sealed in the plastic bag. No fuses, nothing but the pig tail. The little manual that came with it clearly states that on the F-250 Superduty/Excursion the fuses are factory installed. All you have to do is plug it in.

dont know what to tell you, my 2001 came with everthing in the bag and instructions on how to install the harness, fuses, and relays. i have also emailed these instructions to at least a dozen people so they could get their controllers to work. was this on your '03? maybe they started putting them in from the factory on the newer ones because of all the problems they had doing it the other way.
I Just got this truck and it has had the plug under the dash for the brake control to plug into, cut I thank. It has five wires that are not hooked to anything in the vicinity, four larger wires, blue, black, red, and white one small dark wire with a green strip(when metered to ground it has 24v dc). does any one know if these are for the brake control? And what each wire is for?
