1990 intermittent wiper problems
Need your help fellas, All i have right now are high speed wipers,no intermittent or low. So far i've replaced the intermittent switch 2x and replaced the wiper motor 2x. ok i know it has to be the wcm. But where in the world is the wcm?I've looked behind the glove compartment,Ive looked around the fuses on the left hand side of the dash,dont see it anywhere. Thanks a lot in advance!...................Bigjohn

It's mounted directly on top of the fuse box. It's annoying enough to get the two screws out that hold it that I left mine in the 87 and just zip tied the replacement next to it. Second time I have had to replace it and didn't feel like doing that again. If it needs replacing a third time I've got it made.

WCM update : Went down this morning and found the wcm it was right where u guys said it was. Can't believe i've overlooked it for that long. Went to ford dealer and he wanted 120.00 for it ,I about #$%&** myself. So i went to a junkyard and got a used one for 16.00 and it works great

I have the same problem on my 1991 F-150. I have replaced the switch many times and ford dealer I took my truck to is worthless. Too many issues to list. Is the WCM different from the switch.

The wiper control governor is located just behind the wiper switchand is attached to the bottom of the dash by 2 screws.
It is a black plastic box about 2 x 2 1/2" in size.
The boxes are inter-changeable by just a couple/few of years of trucks.
