First Diesel
So I am on my first diesel. I will never go back to a gas truck or as noted here "gasser" again. I am just wondering what the usual temperature is when you should start plugging in at night. By the way, all of my buddies run diesels and they always plug theirs in all night. Hasn't seem to hurt any of them. ty "Cor"

has anyone noticed that your block heater works better if you plug it in when you turn the truck off instead of plugging it in 3 hrs before you leave?? truck seems to stay warmer. one thing about having the block heater plugged in when it is above 20-30, it sucks alot of juice and 1500 watts will cost you. imagine leaving your microwave on all the time.

dont notice that much of an increase in are electric bill. if there i'm sure i would hear about.
the one thing i really like in the winter with it plugged in is windshied isn't a sheet of ice or coverd in snow
tom your right the truck just runs so much better pulling out of my driveway when i have it plugged in instead of having it labor till it warms up a little. so in my way of thinking its worth the extra expense.
