stupid people do breed stupid people, and these stupid people cannot be reasoned with, so sometimes, a little bit of outlandish behavior can go a long way to get through to them. I agree with what khendrix did.

Khendrix, I had a similar experience. I used to run alot, and on a public sidewalk. One day, some kid threw a piece of wood (about a 2 inch cube) at me after I passed him and his friends. I stopped immediately and asked which of them did it. They could tell I was furious and the other two pointed at punk-boy. I told him in no uncertain terms what the consequenses would be if it happened again, and continued on my way. Now, I don't bother anyone when I'm running, and I don't expect anyone to bother me. A couple days later, passing same punk-boy, standing in his yard with friends, a rock goes by my ear after I passed them. Throwing stuff at my back! Now, I'm hotter than a hornet. I go up to him, grab him by the collar and lift him off of the ground about 2 feet, choking the crap out of him at the same time. I'm reading him the riot act, shaking him like a wet rag, and his mother pulls into the driveway. She gets out of the car, and I turn to her, throwing punk-boy to the ground. I explain, at full volume, what transpired and inform her the next time will result in death, not mine. I continue my run, but get madder the whole way. I call police and have the officer come with me to talk to mom and punk-boy. Mom is defending punk-boy like he's some sort of angel!
I get in mom's face, cop tells me to leave, he'll take it from there. He comes back to my house in a half hour or so, and tells me there should be no problem anymore. After that episode, punk-boy gets off sidewalk when I come running along. My opinion? Mother and punk-boy both deserved a beating.

i know when I was growing up, when I did somthing that was wrong..... I knew about it. My parents would march me into the yard, make me pick a switch out of the tree, drop my drawers, and fire my hind end up. That was when I did somthing very wrong. I got alot of whoopins when I was young. I hated it then buut now I realize that if my parents didnt show me right from wrong in a stern way, I wouldnt had came up the way I have. I think that more parents should give stern whoopins to their kids when they do wrong............. then maybe people's cars wouldnt get keyed

I think with the way society is in general with the can't do this can't do that attitude, there's a serious need for some positive reinforcement. May it be a swift kick in the yahoo or an eye for an eye tactic. Our generation X-Box is somewhat out of control and oh yes, allot of adults too! but, Parents are too afraid to lay their hand on them so they rely on what the experts (Brain Doc's) tell them to do. (It's a crock of you know what, it don't work on everyone) Some of us came from the school of "HARD KNOCKS" and when we got out of line, we got the hard knocks! and I am one that is thankful for what lessons I have learned through the use of positive reinforcement. instead of, "Have you hugged your kid today" to "Have you put your kid in check today". I have children and am there to teach them right from wrong......do the crime, do the time

Thanks

Thanks for all your responses. I talked to the insurance company and the body shop and i'm getting it fixed. The total is going to be around 2500 for paint on the entire drivers side and tailgate. I guess i've paid the insurance company long enough that they can give some back to me.

Haven't gotten keyed yet but I got a note and some dirty looks. Mostly its "your truck is too big. I hate you."

If I'm a little crooked in a spot (bad angle or whatever) I always look for a note and hope there isn't any damage.... I try to park as straight and nice as I can but in todays extreme enviro-freek society you always gotta wonder.
