Need a new throttle cable
Where Can I get a new throttle cable on my 86 150? It has the carb and a 300 six. The cable is all frayed on both ends and is getting stuck. I checked carparts.com, but any other sources? I dont think that ford would have it since it is 20 years old. They generally stock parts for vehicles 15 years and less.

you are seriously better with a ford replacement for thist thing, u might pay about 20 bucks more for it, but trust me you don't want to end up like i did after buying from the discount auto parts stores (autozone and pepboys) and ending up with a hung open throttle on a back country road at 10:00 at night after only getting about 12,000 miles outta my new cable.
