Bottom line, to each his own when it comes to something like children, although responsibility for the children is an absolute must.[/QUOTE]

Jim, I couldn't have said it better myself. I am in a situation where I just married a man that has 3 children from a previous marriage, and their mother can't be bothered to do more then satisfy their physical needs. She is very selfish and self centered, but I love them & even if it is a little odd, we have a good, strong, loving family and I cannot wait until we can add to it with one of our own as I can't wait to experience the joy of motherhood as opposed to be the "evil step-mother" as my step monsters effectionately call me.

Pardonnez Moi .... I don't believe I am "*******" anyone about their desire to have huge families. Myself, my own personal opinion is that I don't understand the desire or need for huge families. I cannot and will not accept any reasoning as to why people take drugs to see how many they can have at one time... Quints, etc.

I apologized one time already in this thread and sent an email apology out to the starter of another thread, which was graciously received. I even went so far as to say that I'd be happy if this thread died or was put to rest, before it turns into a Pig Pen type of thread.

If anyone cannot accept my own opinion, I hereby humbly apologize for expressing myself. If anyone is totally offended that I would have such an opinion, I guess they will have to ignore this thread and live with the fact that there are a lot of other people out here that believe as I do.

There are more important things for people to worry about than this particular thread.
Have a nice day.

Before I had kids I couldn't imagine being a father.
After I had kids (about 2 seconds after my first was born), I couldn't remeber what it was like NOT being a father.

All this rot about overpopulation and what a terrible place to raise a kid....... You just try to make your corner of the world a little better, raise them with love and respect and hope they can make their corner of the world a little better for their kids.

This is a very touchy subject we have heard from all sides now. We have heard from those who dont like kids, those who dont want kids, those who cant have kids, those with one, two, three or even eight. It is a personal issue and one that it is best to keep ones opinion to ones self unless you see a child being abused.
Just as i expect people to respect my tater tots (unless they cross a line) I do respect other peoples opinions. I may not agree and I may not like it but the opinion is theirs.
I think we had best quit beaten this dead dog or someone will call the SPCA! and animal cruelty will only bring forth more opinions!
I truly love y'all and would never intentionally hurt anyones feelers. If I did that I am sorry. lets just find aother topic to put our two cents worth in on!
