EVERYTHING goes up in price !!!!

have you tried fuel lately ? or milk ? or water ? or ?????

Everybody wants their 5% raise a year and if prices don't go up, profits go down and you're out of work because the company had to shut down

We just think that if you spent half the effort you spend bad mouthing our trucks in trying to get yours fixed, it would have been fixed long ago. I feel that the real problem with some is not the truck but the owner's state of mind.

If you will notice the same whiners jump at every opportunity to badmouth the trucks. You would think if they were that unhappy they would trade it for a dodge, chevy or honda. The problem for them, is that the Truck they have is better than anything else available

My truck is a 06-03 with 20,000 miles. the only problem I've had is the turbo hose blowing off and I fixed that myself. It would have been fine but my engine makes 35 pounds of boost with the Predator.
I love my truck!

dont forget, in 03, you got the fog lamps, and body side moldings el gratis!........and hitch too?

i know on my sticker, i did not pay extra for body side moldings, fog lamps, or a reciever hitch....my truck has rear overload springs, which i thought they all had, but a recent post from someone with an 04 stated his did not come with it....
lets not forget hood insulation

seems ford shaved off about 500 in costs, and jacked the price....but of course, they are in business to make money, and i am a stock holder...who am i to complain?

I'm going to put the Predator tuner on my truck probably Thursday... think it is advisable to put a hose clamp on the turbo hose to prevent it from ever blowing off? Or should I wait to see if it happens?

Funny, I dont even have the truck yet and I've already ordered the tuner and am thinking of what I want to do with the truck as far as mods go

Working on that very thing. Doesn't mean I won't be back here sharing my experiences, though.

Better? Not sure I buy that, I guess. Ford is the only choice in a full sized SUV with a modern diesel so that's why I got one. That doesn't make the truck better, IMO, but it sure makes for lost sales for GM.

Cool. I hope it remains as reliable as it has been thus far. Most are, I'd hope.

Not one other problem in the next 7500 miles. But I have been checking on some of the suggestions in other threads and have found the intercooler hose off at the bottom of the clamp, nothing else. Shooting in the dark here.... could some of our problems be plant specific? Or build DAY specific.
I believe this could be the case and have asked the question before. No answers though.

In reference to jdadamsjr comment about everything goes up in price. I don't disagree with the price increase. I just would of liked to have gotten everything that the 03 had on the 04 for that price increase. After all, I would still have the 03 if it would not have had constant issues that were going to require it to be in the shop on a weekly basis.

I bought my 2004 from Nye in Wasilla. Its a CrewCab 4x4 Lariat with everything but the power rear slider (including dealer installed spray-in bed liner, factory sunroof, 6 disc CD, etc, etc.) . List was right at $47K. I spent around $39K for it. Nye fought me on it but they still sold it for that and they still made plenty. If your looking for a supercab lariat 04 - I would expect that you can easily get one for around $35-37K locally in AK without too much trouble.
