you can program the keyless remotes yourself, also. you have to have the right freguency remote to do it, though. A friend of mine gave me a pretty good idea, he has a 99 Explorer. He goes to the new ford lot, looks at new ones until he finds a remote in the glovebox, and snags it. As long as it is the "Shark" remote, it will work on anything 99-up, I think. All you have to do is do a on-off with the ignition ket 8 times or so and the power locks will cycle. then press the lock button on the remote. done. I think you can have up to 4 remotes per vehicle.
