Coolant Test Stripes Question

i got some coolant test stripes from napa the other day to test my coolant and to have on hand for other diesels that come in the door and they test three things. PH, nitrile and protection level. i know about the protection level and how to fix it if its out but what about ph and nitrile. which affects cavitation and whats the other for and how do i correct them if they get out of whack. the nitrile sounded like it was for cavitation but not sure. any help would be great.

Napa's coolant additive is not exactly the same as fw-15. I would make sure their test strips are the same ones that internatioal sells.

You can bring the ph down by adding vinagar to the coolant. I know it sounds goofy but it works.

Oh, Fleetrite test strips are better.

The nitrite level goes up as the coolant breaks down, or so I was told, I just bought a bottle of fleetrite test strips today, and all is well, now just have to use the other 49 before they expire in a year.
