I have 1976 Ford f-250 that i got from someone but they completely messed up the wiring in it when they tried to make it a dual battery bank i just put about 400 dollars worth of electrical parts in it, and a brand new solenoid i bought isn't even working. the horn relay clicks when i turn the ignition to the start position. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to (FTE) Are you sure its the horn relay that is clicking, and not the starter solenoid!
Check your battery cables, and cable ends, make sure your battery has a
full charge these are the first things to check.
My 2 cents !!!
