When I rev my 351 I have bright signals and headlights, at idle, there dim to nonexistent. I have a new battery and alternator. Any suggestions?

No expert here but check the obvious things like belt tightness and wear. Something is causing the alternator to not charge at full strength.

Check the belts etc, and make for sure your voltage regulator is good. If you've got a voltage meter you can test this yourself by starting the truck and letting it idle, connect the voltage meter and if its putting out anywhere from 13.7-14.1 volts it is charging and i would look elswhere. This same symptom happend to my buddies old truck, the one i have now, swapped the voltage regulator and everything is all good now.
