New Amp-Factory Stereo?

Is it possible to hook an amp up to a factory stereo in a 99 f150? Or do I need to buy a different head unit? Can you also tell me the easiest way to remove my OE stereo without tearing up my dashboard??

Thanks

yes you can. you'll need a line level converter or an amp with speaker inputs.

remove the bezel trim around radio and ac controls with a tug. Then use the removal tools available at wal-mart etc. and take out radio. CAn be done in about 10 seconds.

It can be done, I have a similar setup in my F-250. You might wanna get an eq to clear it up a bit though, stock HUs aren't really that great, or you could just spend a lil bit and get a better HU that will sound a lot better.
