Note that if it is not in the rear, it is in the dashboard on the right hand side. That is where it was on two of my BIIs. If memory serves me right, you have to remove it from the top of the dashboard (like you do the speakers) and it will come out on a bracket. You need a small slim ratchet that will accept a short 1/4 socket so you can use it with a phillips bit.

I have an 89 BII and it was on the rear driver side behind the paneling. More than likely it is there. **One big note though** you have to remove the whole left side of teh paneling. It comes out as one giant piece. Also you have to remove the handels by using a star screw driver.
