The Ravin Z-77 class mufflers are deep, they also have the Z-55(40 or 50 series flow), and the Z-33 (kinda like a glasspack). dunno what they will be like on a 360 though.
Flowmasters??? Flows are deep????? lol. They are raspy and annyoing. If you want a deep sounding muffler that gives you an old skool muscle car sound take a look at Dynomax Super Turbo's. I've got some sound clips if you are interested. Also the super turbo's definetly don't sound like everyone out there. The real rumble....
I will agree that superturbo mufflers have a deep sound, but once the glass packing burns out they go all hollow and crappy sounding till you get to a high RPM. You could try the Flowtech Terminators if you want something like a superturbo, they are all welded and have 3" louvered flowtubes regardless of the inlet and outlet.
I just got 40 series on my truck and they sound nice and deep at idle and scream when you give it gas.
Depends what setup your running, I've heard some sound better then others!
Exactly. It depends on where in the system the muffler is. The further foward, the better. The more pipe behind the muffler, the "deeper" it will sound. Going to a larger pies size after the muffler helps too.
The deepest sound I ever heard was a 292 with 2.25" mufflers mounted to the headers, and 3" pipe all the way back. You almost couldnt hear the deep rumble at idle, but the reverb shook the windows in the house. Got lots of attention.
