i watched a excvating company bury a d-9 while digging a pond, ground was softer then they thought and they left it overnight stuck and it sank in......still rusting way years lata
Yea - I buried my Cat 963 trackloader up over the top of the tracks!! You could step out of the door, right down to the ground. I was trying to pull out a buried Pettibone and ended up sinking in short order! Yea - it was my 2nd week at my new job!!! NOT good. But my foreman had told me it looks OK - "go ahead and track down there and pull that guy out" so at least it wasn't all my fault. It took about three hours to finally get my loader out. A 30 ton track-hoe tried to pull me out first but no dice, so he dug all around my loader while we were waiting for the D-8 to come down from up on the job site. When he hooked up, (he was a tad ticked off that he had to spend 10 min. tracking down to where I was stuck) he gave it hell and dragged me right out like my loader was a little play toy. So - yes I still work at the same job, and every now and then someone brings it up and the guys all have a good laugh!! I'm just glad I didn't get fired!!

I went out on the 4th with a friend. We were coming down a trail and got stuck. After an hour and a half of digging, jacking, rocking, cussing, and laughing (she thought it was hillarious) i finally got it out.... was i stuck?
yeah. A friend. Let me get this straight. You got "stuck" with a chick and all you did was dig, jack, rock, and cuss? Lost out on a opportunity there, my friend.
i almost got our 941 cat stuck at some land we have...i was knocking down an old house and th eloader fell through the septic tank and the tracks were touhing poo....i got myself out with the bucket though...does that count as a nasty stuck?
