Small rust spot - best method to fix?

Morning All,
Just noticed a small rust spot (about the size of an eraser) where the roofline meets the window column above the door.

I don't want to use the paint with the little brush, since that usually doesn't look good after.

What's a good way to attack this small rust spot and have it look good afterwards?

Thanks for your input.

The eraser-sized spot (assuming it isn't a chip in the paint) is probably the size of a dime. You just can't see the problem yet.

There is no quick, invisible fix. In other words, no magic wand. Sanding until you have clean metal and properly matching the paint is the only way to eliminate the rust problem.

That's what I had feared.

Time to brush up on my bodywork skills and tackle this before it spreads.

Thanks for the info.
