98door panel removal

Can someone tell me how to remove the inner door panel on my 98 F150. I can`t seem to get those plastic clips to release on the bottom of the door panel. Thanks

If you look in the FAQs at the top of the forum page you'll find instructions there.
The main thing to remember is to lift the panel. Don't try pulling it straight off.

Dave,
I'm trying to remove the inner door panel on the drivers side of my '99 E350 Club Wagon and I tried to follow your suggestion to look at the FAQ's within forum but I am not getting a hit. What search words should I use? Thx.

The instructions in the FAQs are for an F150.
The van is a bit different.

Remove the door handle bezel. It just pulls straight off.

Remove the power window/door lock switch bezel, if so equipped. Pull up on the back of it.

Remove the rearview mirror fastener trim cover. It pulls straight off too.

Remove the door trim panel retaining screws. There should be one at the bottom of the panel and one behind each of the pieces you've removed so far.

Lift the door trim panel up from the door to disengage the trim panel clips. Dont try pulling it straight off or you'll break it. Only lift up on it.

Remove the courtesy lamp wiring harness connector and remove the door trim panel.

Just so you know I searched the FAQ and couldn't get any hits for removing the door panels for a 98 F150. You don't need to tell me how cause I figured it out, just saying that I couldn't find it in the FAQ.
