94 Jerks under load/operating temp
Got a major problem, can't figure it out......My 94 has been jerking and shuddering excessively. It only does it when it is normal temp, under load, and only happens when the RPM's are less than 2000. If I keep it out of Overdrive, and above 2000 RPM's it's smooth as silk.
I've got a brand new TPS and MAF Sensor. Any ideas on what else to check before I have to break my bank?

Might be your catalitic converter. After tracking down every other potential contributor to a similar problem with my 93, then changing the cat with the rest of the exhaust, the problem went away.

Do you think a cat would make such a specific fault in my driving range, or would it be more widespread, because it only does it under 2000RPM, and my RPM drops - sometimes to zero - then comes right back up....it sometimes gives a little backfire when it hits zero, and one time last week, I was driving and the RPM went completely to zero, and my truck was still going - 55mph!!!!! So confusing.

I am experience a similar, though not exactly the same problem with my 94. I checked the fuel pressure and with the vacuum attached it is 28-29 (book says should be 30-40) and with the vacuum detached it is 38-39 (book says should be 40-50).
Anyone have any thoughts on it this could be causing the problem. And/or is this low enough to justify a new regulator?
