Just completed a 5070 mi trip across the Appalachian twice, and was down 1/2 qt when I got home and changed it. Milage was 5.7 (45mph head winds) to 8.8+ (down hill, down wind). We tried to keep the speed between 55 and 65.

I wish mine did better on the oil issue. No big deal, I watch it closely to keep it full. I am just disappointed that a engine in these times uses that kind of oil. I had a Model T for a spell and it didn't use a drop in 10 miles LOL
I love that down hill mileage..Ha,ha.
