clear coat

What kind of clear was used in the 95 model year,it can't be urathane,was it water born?

Am not sure why you say it couldnt be urethane, because that would be my answer. Water based clears , from what I have read, are not getting the popularity of use, that the poly's are enjoying. Maybe someone with more knowledge of painting products than me will chime in soon,

I think GM used some water based paint for awhile, but I think it still had urethane over it. I would bet it was urethane in 95.

I say it's not urathane because it'e crapy paint,try sanding it .It powders up like 50 year old varnish
