Outside Temperature Display Reading Off

2000 Expedition, 5.4L, AWD, 82K miles. My overhead outside Temperature display is reading way off (reading 115 degrees) It has both temp and compass, the compass works well. It's been doing this constantly for a year now. It seems maybe the outside sensor is bad? Anyone know where this is located? How to test/ replace? Etc...

Thank you

It is locate behind one of the brackets in front of the radiator. Mine seems to be fairly accurate when moving in moderate or lighter traffic, or on the highway. When sitting at a stop light it is on the warm side, but not a hot as yours.
