Replacement Shocks
The infamous floorboard popping & NOW knock whenever I'm on rough roads has been diagnosed as a bad right shock... which certainly satisfies all symptoms.
Instead of paying them 200$ to replace the two fronts, I figured I'd upgrade and do all 4. So... what should I get? I'd like Ranchos, but I'd like to prevent breaking the bank...
Suggestions?

I got the rancho 9000's and REALLy like the 9 way adjustability...
I mean - how do u KNOW how shocks will handle your ride until u put them on ???
I like that I could adjust the ride for the conditions...
I did not think I was ready for airbags jst yet, so these things really help !

Well Hoop, don't go comparing my cost...
I got 4 for $140 or so and paid someone $40 to install since I'm lazy :-)
But there was a buy 3 get one free for a bit...
They were take offs of a bud that had them for two motnhs and then lifted his truck so they were take offs and work great !

Nice...
I found some SRX's for $53 on JCWhitney.com which seems to be a fare price, but I'm gonna keep looking!
The 9000's are probably overkill for what I need.
Any other good brands? I actually saw some Bilsteins for about the same price.

I just replaced my rear shocks with the Rancho RSX's. So far very pleased. I have a 4X2 and had a hard time finding good shocks for the front. Rancho has a part number for a RSX shock for the front, but no one carried it. I finally found a pair of Edelbrock shocks for the front and am pleased with them also. The install on both was pretty easy.

I went with the Edelbrock IAS shocks and they are amazing. 
No body roll in the corners and rides smoother than the truck ever
