please correct me if im wrong

installing a 16" new electric fan and deleted the clutch fan. im mounting it towards the motor behind the rad. i want the same reverse motion that a clutch fan has ,right? i want air to blow towards the motor, correct? i have a puny 12" fan on but am changing that today. will have a manual switch/fusible link for the new fan. motor gets a little too hot and i get a lifter clacking.

thanks for all and any help.
got some new pics in my gallery anyway. my newly painted truck. you can do wonders with porch paint and a little bondo

Direction of the fan turning (reverse motion or forward) is only dependent on the fan. You just want to insure that it is pulling the air through the radiator. Or toward the engine as you describe.

Hope that makes sense.
