Seven Blade Flex Fan

After noticing my fan clutch getting a little sloppy, I have decided to switch out fans in the near future. Out with the clutch. Flex-A-Lite seems the way to go. But I dont want a bunch of fan noise. flex-A-Lite makes the unequally spaced fan. They say its much more quiet than other fans.
Anyone have any experiance with these fans? Thanks

I feel it’s a waste to remove a clutch fan. They provide the best overall performance. Flex fans use more power to turn them at highway speed than a clutch fan and sometimes restrict flow when the blades flatten out.

If you really want to use a fixed fan try looking at the race rans that they offer. These will not flatten out at higher rpm. I am considering that fan in a 19 inch size with the aluminum blades.
