1979 F350 value question

1979 F350 value question

Just looking for a general opinion here guys, I am looking at a 1979 F350 with a 400m/C6 combo and a 4x4 setup. The bed is shot (doesn't appear to be original) but everything else seems to be in good shape. The miles are less than 100k which seems to be due to the fact that the truck was largely used as a yard truck. should I be weary of a truck that was used for plowing/towing by as many people as a yard truck seems to be used by? Nothing seems to have been rebuilt, its all original, what would I be looking to replace first? What would you say the vehicle is worth...yes, i know worth is a relative question, but overall what would be a fair offer for the truck, and after a frame off restoration, what would a typical 1979 4x4 F350 regular cab with dana 60's front and back be worth?

If the body is shot, I figure $1000 if the guy doesn't know about ebay. Those trucks with the front 60s go for more on ebay because of the front axle. Buy it Now!!!!
