2000 door panel removal

Can anyone tell me how to remove the 2000 Excursion passenger front door panel so I can replace defective speaker?

With your fingers pop off the black plastic cover above the door post where the bolts for the side mirror would come through the frame. Just pull, it'll come off...trust me. Pry up the top part of the power window switch panel with a small screw driver and unplug the wires. Pry off the lens for the door light at the bottom latch side of the door. You should have a phillips screw behind the lens and at the post cover in the first step. Now just lift the panel off, but be careful because there is a wire behind the light you need to take off. Easiest door panel I ever removed.

When you pry up the window-switch panel, pry up its forward end. You'll also need to disconnect the wiring connections from the switch panel, but that's the easiest part.

I've got to say, removal of the door panels is very very easy. A good stereo installer will have all four door panels off in around 5-10 minutes.

Actually, I have to do this today as my driver side door lock actuator died some time ago.
