Wow, I saw some negative comments about the last ford pass software update concerning oil life remaining..but..I think the biggest problem is the list of the feature that lets you add your own maint receipts into your service record. Used to be you create a record, attach your reciept, and bingo, your maint work is now in your service history.
now…the only way for a diy person to get their maint into the service re it’s is to buy supplies from ford using ford pass points..they take the purchase thru the service department and send it over to parts…you pay …then what ever is on the record gets put into your service record.
Hope they put this back in or if I am wrong someone jump in and please correct me.
I agree. I get my Oil Changed at a Non Ford dealer and used the Ford Pass app to record my oil changes an services. Now it is gone. This was a good way to collect and track service details when doing DIY or other dealers. The new app version is not very intuitive at all and you have to go thru multiple screens for the same info. Maybe the feedback from users will have them doing updates in future versions of the app @FordService
Oh Ok...Never used it there. Was so easy to just upload the owner service records and snap pic using my iPhone and upload the documentation. Looks like it going backwards direction and and taking away functionality from the app and going back to a website? Guess this is progress?? ! LOL
I wasn’t given the choice to keep the old version. Just had a button to restart and the new version was there. I really don’t like that I can no longer see oil life remaining or TPMS data.

I learned from a user in the other thread that the vehicle information (oil life, tire pressures..) is located in "vehicle health" now.

My vehicle health shows "Temporarily Unavalable". Not too happy with the "upgrade". They took away some good stuff, and made everything harder to find.
Fordpass is something that I don’t need. I tried using it when I first got my truck. The only thing I had any use for was being able to start my truck from longer distances on cold days. And I seldom did that other than to show off to co workers that would go out and start their vehicles just before the end of the shift.
I got a notification in the mail a few days ago about a $200 fee the up date the navigation? Not going to happen as I don’t use it , and my phone works just fine for navigation.

Same here. Awful redesign. They buried the Important information like TPMS and oil life so deep as to be useless and took away many features, the one I will miss the most is being able to upload my own service records so everything is in one place.
As suggested in the other thread I went to the App Store and rated it with a single star with negative comments.
My dealer has never questioned me about oil or other service work they didn't do and that I did. Bought trucks and cars from them since 2008. They've done major warranty work over the years.
Most everything that Ford does in the virtual world sucks. Always has. Very poor apps and websites has been their signature. My FordPass app hasn't updated itself. Sounds like I should be glad about that. Fortunately I don't use it for much other than a remote start now and then in winter.
