I say let'er rust! Mine got alot of rust on the under-body parts the first six months I had it and it's not gotten much worse since then. The axles didn't rust much at all but the frame is about 60% covered with a thin layer of it.
I don't really care about it-I live in a snow/salt area and about every vehicle I've owned rusted underneath early but never enough to cause problems, even after 5 or 7 years-which is about as long as I ever keep one anyway. Guess I'm not a "anual" as some of you guys!
