Rust
I have never notice this before on any of my other trucks but I have some rust on the main axle. Should I be worried? Is there something I can do to clean it up or at least stop it? The truck is only a month old and has not even been in the snow salt.

i woudl grease all moving parts, then paint everything else. I try to get my 69mustang up in the air and do that every year or so, espcially since it sits a lot of the time.

Its just a spray paint, you should be able to get it at any auto parts store or even at Walmart,K-mart, Mijer, Home Depot or any place like that.

Well rustoleum claims you can paint over, so as long as there isnt big chips of rust, just wash it and paint away, two thin coats. If you wanna see rust check out my old SD in my gallery, It drove everyday in the winter with alot of snow and salt, if you couldn't tell. If you don't paint your truck, itll look like mine!! Muahahha.

I jacked the truck up jack stands of course..Started the truck and put in drive to spin the rear....Took my 7 inch grinder with 36 grit paper and blew the heavy rust off that drive shaft real quick...Finished off by hand while spinning..3 coats of rust bullet...

Man...I started to do the rustolium thing today...got my axles touched up. There sure are a lot of pieces with rust! you looked at the engine from underneath? How far to you guys go? I have an 04 btw. Do you have to order rust bullet online?
