power stroke slow start
my high milage engine really has trouble starting. I have new glow plugs but they arent helping. I usually have to use them give it fuel then re use the glow plug before it will crank up. and forget it in the cold. any help for me.

make sure all connections are good and corosion free, a bad connection makes for more resistance, and therefore less amps.E=I*R
Is it turning over fast or slowly? Starter could be going bad if turning over slowly.

i had similair problem on 95. it would crank slow, hard start when cold, then started to hesitate before cranking over then 2 days later clicked only. problem was rusted out lock washer on starter soleniod on power strap from soleniod to starter motor. it worth a look. everything seemed tight but still was a good enough connection.
