Does anyone know where i might find a tutorial (w/ pics) that could prep me for replacing my auto hubs with manual ones? Links to a site that might have some would be great. I have a Haynes manual but have found supplements often help compliment the areas in where the book lacks.
Also, does anyone know what type of grease should be used when putting in the replacements? Thanks
I replaced the auto hubs on my 94 Ranger with Warns; I seem to think they had some instructions included. However, if you know how to adjust or pack a wheel bearing, you can accomplish the hub swap. The existing Ford components for adjusting the wheel bearing go bye-bye and are replaced with a couple of rings made by Spicer. They work like two jamb nuts; if you can get your hands on a spanner wrench, tightening these will be much easier. As for the grease, just go to your local auto parts store and look on the can, it will tell you what vehicles it's recommended for. FWIW, there is a Ford spec on the grease (taken from my owners manual), it is ESA-M1C198-A.

Usually I just look on the can for the recommended applications and make sure it meets or exceeds the manufactures recommended specs. I've been using Valvoline part #632; the container is about the same size as a container of cottage cheese. I'd also suggest avoiding non-brand names, but that's a personal preference.
