I've seen this a couple times. Get some new bolts from a Ford dealer they switched to stainless. You might have to drill and tap a broken bolt. It amazes me what some of the dealerships try.

FordTuff, it may be too far for you but friday nights in the hamptons there is a classic car/truck/motorcycle show that a few of us show up to. check out the thread in this forum for Meschutt beach.

Greetings all
We landed in Liverpool, NY (NW Suburb of Syracuse) 4 years ago after trying out Cincinnati, OH for 3 years. My wife is from Parishville, NY (Way up North) and I'm from Bay Shore, NY (Long Island). Syracuse puts us between families.
I sold my 1999 F150 XLT SuperCab, 4.6L to my dad a few weeks ago and picked up a fully loaded 2004 Explorer Eddie Bauer 4.6L. It's got everything but the 2nd row captain's chairs. What a vehicle!! Light years ahead of my F150. Got a great deal also, $1100 under invoice.
Looking forward to correspondence and technical advice (given and received) from all.
