[QUOTE=66coupenw] I think in general, buyers of HD trucks tend to be much more brand loyal than typical car buyers, which has kept Ford #1 in the truck business.

EXACTLY!! I think this is the reason for the level of intensity of the complaints. Many of us have been loyal for years and now these same people are getting the run around from Ford. Too bad too, I really like the HD's but $35K for a new truck that has more problems than anything I've ever owned has led me to start looking elsewhere, but not much compares so I'm stuck.

I find out this week if Ford is going to buy mine back. March 03 build, 24K miles, 14 shop visits in 6 months. If not, I'll take the lemon law route.

Hi,

I have had nothing but problems with my 2002 Excursion 7.2 PSD. The dealer removed the front struts and suspension mounts and ground out the chassis with a metal grinder under the driver side floor board to stop poppoing suspension sounds. The CD Changer has been replaced 3 time. The engine stops accelerating and leaves me stranded (50+ times now!).

It started at 275 miles and has doen it once a week it seems since December 2001. I am fed <!-- and and ready to file suit -->.

The truck came with Firestone tires and one of them seperated and disentigrated on the interstate nearly resulting in a serious accident.

Maybe this explains why they have ceased production!

<!-- I have a lawyer, need more co-plaintiffs to file a complaint. -->My 1997 Ford F-250 Club Cab never had a single problem. This excusrion is CRAP!

You would think a $50,000.000 truck would be a little more reliable!

<!-- Post your email if you want to join a lawsuit! -->
