That wasn't very nice.

Good luck with your class action endeavors. I think to a degree, we all feel your pain. Chrysler did the same thing to me in the mid 80's, I will never own another Chrysler product as a result and I also share my experience with many. One upset customer talks to at least 7 people and , well , you know the rest.

PULLEN I know how you feel have been trying with little sucess to get ford to fix my truck no mpgs.the best thing I can say is try a different dealer, I have been to 4 different ones, finally found one that wants to get the truck right. and they are starting to make some progress.what ever you do dont get angry, even though you have the right, it puts them on the defensive and then they are less inclinded to help you.ask them to set up appointment to see th regional rep. about your problem. and good luck and dont give up if you get a good dealer they will get your problem fixed. and by the way who are the dealers that dont have the ability to fix your problem so others can avoid them.

Wanna trade??

Yeah... Kinda frustrating "ain't it" AND,, ..what do you want... good grammar "or" good taste... This IS one of Ford's biggest issue's (my opinion) unfolding right before us with the 6.0 and SD, and that "is" a trusted/faithful customer slipping through the cracks, and maybe for good.. Can they really afford it.. Maybe. I KNOW that the arguement goes both ways, and there are alot of satisfied owners, but to have a truck with only a few thousand miles and feeling it was a mistake, is something knowone wants to have.. Usually the GLOW of a "new ride" lasts a little longer than that.. I run Hot and Cold with mine, as the oil leak comes and goes, as well as the tingle in my feet!! Did I mension the clunk in the trans 2-3 shift now, or the hydo booster leaking.. I was checking into the Lemon Law last night.. Guess I didn't have anything better to do... like ..say.. go out and wipe the oil off from under my 38,000.00 investment.. Or, go for a drive until my feet fall asleep from the turbo.. And Ford says...we'll fix it, we just don't know when, OR how.. I'm a very understanding person, and if they want to give me a new one to drive till mine is finally fixed, in WHAT, 6 months, a year.. I'm really OK with that.. If Ford wanted to buy'em back, and sell them to owners that aren't as picky, GREAT.. But I want the same thing everyone got, if you were one of the lucky ones.. (I hate that I should even have to use that term) We should all get same quality Ford Truck "I'm" used to getting.. Hate to be a "grey cloud", but I didn't build my truck, and it really T's me off that I'm on this side of the fence..

Mine runs and drives great, but, do I wish it belonged to someone else "YES"
If all my issues were gone, would I be a satisfied customer "YES"

I really hope FOMOCO hears the complaints, as well as the praise, but no other purchase has discouraged me in so short of time.. They BETTER hurry on the fixes...

Other than that, its ALL GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry to here about your problem. If I can make one suggestion is find a Ford TRUCK dealer. When I owned my 2002 Excursion, I went to many car dealers that claimed to be truck dealers and never could fix my problem. We have a Ford truck dealer here in my town. They do not sell cars, just trucks. They test drove my Excursion and when they returned, they swapped a module and the truck ran great. I use my dealer for very basic things now but when I really have a problem I go the the truck dealer.

Well said and no doubt the feeling of many of us loyal ford customers, funny story while at the dealership today, the fleet sales manager comes over by me sees my company name on my shirt and says, your just the guy I am looking for, were doning some great deals on super dutys, would you like some prices. I TOLD HIM IF FORD DOESNT GET MY 6.0 RIGHT THERE WILL BE NO MORE FORDS IN MY FLEET. HE came with the all to common answer your the first guy I have talked to with a problem, in there back lot sits a truck with the words written on the window ford buy back. I wonder who they think they are fooling.

"Maybe" what the Fleet Manager meant, was you were this first guy with a problem TODAY!!

We are in a similar situation.. We have a fairly large fleet of Ford trucks.. They have been working (in past years) on Truk Island, Guam, Hawaii, and even the Middle East, and of course many places in the US.. Warranty work gets a little difficult, as does time down.. "MANY" Ford trucks over the years, bought and sold, wrecked and parted out too.. But have always been replaced by newer Fords, and served our needs well, for the most part.. The 7.3's have held up well for the amount of torture our employee's put them through!! We also have a new owner next door that isn't real happy with his 04.. Mostly bad MPG, and a "barkin" turbo.. BUT,, our company is witnessing the quality and/or lack of it in the new 6.0.. And, MAYBE a 1/03 build isn't "probably" a good barometer for the newer/improved 6.0 for sure, but never the less a window.. It's "this" kind of situation that can hurt Ford, and the purchase of 6.0 SD's if not only one sale is lost, but very many..

I would like to see Ford offer up a few 04 "buybacks" or even new units to put in the field and give'm the supreme test.. If our guys can't kill'em, I'll give them the thumbs up!!

I feel for you however, in the guideline "Do not post content seeking support for a lawsuit" please follow the guidelines.

Moreover, do maintain you cool; I know it is very hard to do.
Good luck and keep us informed.

You are correct, I was a jerk. Please accept my apology for my sarcastic reply. This forum is about trucks, not grammar.

And by the way, I share your feelings about the way Ford is treating their customers on these early 6.0's. I think in general, buyers of HD trucks tend to be much more brand loyal than typical car buyers, which has kept Ford #1 in the truck business. A glitch like this could knock them off that pedestal if they don't make the attempt to do right by their customers. We'll see what happens ...
