Rebuilt carb , no improvement?????

I have an 84 F250 with a 351 and the C6 tranny, about a week ago I had the 2bbl. carb rebuilt by a mechanic, and the idle is better, but when its drivin it will bog and try to stall.
could it be the carb, the fuel pump, a vacum leak>???
I'm at my wits end .

You may want to make sure your accelerator pump is working and the nozzles aren't clogged. If they are your engine won't accellerate (may even die) if you stomp on the gas too much. It would still work under light acceleration.

My 351 also does this if it's eaten too much oil and needs more to raise the level.

90% of carburator problems are caused by the ignition system.
