Just get Lojack, plus you get an insurance price break. Just need the cash for the up front for purchase. I rode with friends (local PD) when doing a LoJack demonstration, and the vehicle was found within 38 minutes

Lo jack isnt worth a darn. You need atleast 2 cars for the system to work and they have to be close to the stolen car. Houston has 10 cars with lojack in a city of 4 million. Louisana only has 1 car so they cant even track it. If you want something that will work, Try www.GPS2000online.com

I have all of my vehicles registered. At age 57 I'm rarely out after 10 PM anyway. I did get pulled over on 2895 out of Laredo though. The DPS officer had run my plates and was checking to see if I was one of the registered drivers. Seems the officer had a SCrew just like mine and it was stolen and found in Mexico. Being stopped by Texas DPS in that area is not all bad. She was one fine looking young lady. I will continue to register mine as the situation requires.
