Just rolled 180k on my 2000, and it still runs well. Have spent a decent amount replacing worn suspension parts, but the engine still seems to be running well. Don't really have any complaints about the engine itself. Still has plenty of power, and was able to pull 50% more than what it's rated for last summer at the Ohio meet. I think the only reason I would get rid of my V10 is if it experienced some unexpected catastrophic failure, or if another one came along with a bulletproofed 6.0 with a body just as clean and 4x4 for a good price.

There is no such thing as a bullet proof 6 leaker. They all are just waiting for a place to croak. The V-10 is about the most dependable and cheap to maintain engine ever produced. I'll take poor gas mileage any day over being stranded. I wouldn't take a 6 leaker in the wilderness for all the money in China, but no quams doing that with a V-10.
2001 f350 worktruck has 295k, works as a crew truck for concrete wall contractor. Used everyday definitly has lost some of its giddy-up but still runs just fine!
189K on my 2000 plow truck. Still have all the power but MPG went down some. Used to get 12 to 13 combined, now get 10 to 12 combined depending on what kind of mood its been in.
I have 190k on my 2002 sc. I replaced head gasket and manifold studs at 176k and just now replaced the fuel pump and cjb. I love the truck it runs great.

No rule against it so to speak, and I'm not gonna lock the thread. But we would prefer that you start a new thread and leave the past in the past.
