i got a flatbed on my 88, it still needs some added bracing, but so far, i made it out of 2x8's and used lags to attach them to some 1" angle iron just to hold it tog. so far. next i wanna get some either thicker angle or an I beam all the way around it for some strength. i bolted it onto the frame using the existing holes from where the bed was with some real heavy duty bolts (like grade 5) when i get it converted to a reg. picture file, ill post the CAD drawing of the bumper i thought up.
