Have any of you guys ever seen black diamond plate? I've seen it on my friends flatbed and I was wondering if you can buy it like that or could you paint/cover it to make it black somehow? The flatbed that's on mine is....not almost.....is......shot and I was planning on paintin the truck black, havin a black flatbed, black underbody tool box, and chrome stacks.

you should be able to go buy a black diamondplate flatbed. If it were me, I'd also get it Line-X'd too...

 

According to a local body guy i know, aluminum diamond plate will not hold spray on liners. He tried a few and you could grab the edge and peel the liner off.

 

the black toolboxes are usually just the aluminum ones powder-coated.
